1. WR Sterling Shepard

Sterling Shepard's time in NY is over. He posted his heartfelt goodbye after the season, and it would seem that he has come to terms with the fact that he won't be suiting up for Big Blue in 2024. Shepard is loved by Giants fans old and new. He came into the league and showed so much talent and potential. The receiver out of Oklahoma had a great start to his career and Giants fans had so much hope for him. Unfortunately, injuries mounted for Shepard year after year, and he found himself used less frequently.

This past season, Shepard was an afterthought on a bad offense. That usually doesn't bode well. Shepard was a great leader for the Giants both on and off the field, but can you keep bringing someone back who isn't going to produce for you? Nope.

Shepard said he couldn't see himself playing for another team and that he would retire before doing that. It's safe to say Giants fans couldn't see him playing elsewhere either. With the injury history and lack of production, the market will more than likely be a cold one for Shepard. It seems unlikely he'll get another chance in a different city.
