The NY Giants are 1-3 through the first four weeks, and with a demanding schedule ahead, it's clear this team is in a rebuilding mode. Over the next five weeks, the Giants will face the Seahawks, Bengals, Eagles, Steelers, and Commanders.

With Week 5 here, we are beginning to learn which teams are contenders and pretenders this season. That said, it's essential to keep in mind who will be buying and who will be selling with the NFL trade deadline about a month away.

While there's plenty of time for the Giants to turn the corner, it will be challenging with their schedule to contend in the NFC East, and they will likely miss the playoffs again this year. So, it's safe to say Big Blue will be sellers at this year's trade deadline. Let's look at four Giants that Joe Schoen should consider trading while he still can before it's too late:

4. RB Devin Singletary

While I don't believe the Giants will be moving Devin Singletary, they will still gauge interest and take calls from other teams who may need a running back. Running backs are at higher risk of injury, and plenty of teams could use the help if Singletary is on the market. Teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, and Cleveland Browns could all pursue Motor, but I still don't believe he is dealt.

Schoen and Daboll love Singletary from their time together in Buffalo with the Bills, and Motor continues to prove why he shouldn't be slept on. Singletary has rushed for 221 yards and two touchdowns on 56 carries through the first four weeks. The veteran running back has filled in nicely in the Giants' backfield, taking over for Saquon Barkley. However, some costly fumbles have been negative.

If the Giants do decide to trade Singletary, it would open the door for Tyrone Tracy Jr. or Eric Gray to develop and get opportunities. New York would also add draft capital, which would help them as a rebuilding team. However, it would be tricky to move Singletary because he signed a three-year deal. For that reason, I don't think he's on the move, but it will be interesting to see if any teams call about the veteran running back.
