3. LB Azeez Ojulari

One player who could be on the move is Giants outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari. The 2021 second-round pick had a great rookie campaign, but his stock has dropped due to several injuries over the last two seasons. He is quietly bouncing back this season, and it may not be too late for the Giants to trade the 24-year-old linebacker.

Ojulari has nine tackles, one tackle for a loss, a sack, and a fumble recovery over the last four weeks. While he's only played 18 pass-rushing snaps this season, he has five pressures and three hurries and leads the Giants edge rushers in pass-rush win rate on true-passing sets. These numbers are encouraging, and it could be a good time for Schoen to move Ojulari before it's too late.

Ojulari played well as a rookie in New York, recording eight sacks, which set an all-time Giants record for a rookie. B.J. Hill, who had 5.5 sacks in 2018, set the previous record. Many believed Ojulari would continue his dominance, but he only played 18 games in the last two seasons because of injuries, and we didn't know what to expect from the linebacker this year.

Now, with a crowded pass-rushing department that includes rookie Elijah Chatman, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Brian Burns, Dexter Lawrence, and others, Ojulari could be the odd man out for the New York Giants defense and be moved before it's too late. A team like the Washington Commanders, who is shaping up to be a contender in the NFC East this season, could buy low on Ojulari and target him as a piece that could be added to a strong defensive unit that includes Daron Payne, Jonathan Allen, and Bobby Wagner.
