2. DT Dexter Lawrence

When Saquon Barkley signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, everyone wondered what the Giants new identity was going to be. A fair question given that Barkley was always the guy people named if they were asked to name a Giants player.

In 2024, the new identity will be the defense and it will all start with Dexter Lawrence. He is the guy who has been here the longest. The defensive side of the ball is his unit and there's no question about it. It's not just his longevity or leadership that makes it untradable, the guy is also an incredibly good player.

He's been named an All-Pro Second-Team player and has been named to the Pro Bowl in each of the past two seasons. In 2023, he finished Top 10 in DPOY voting. He is one of the best defensive tackles in the entire NFL, if not the best. He can't go anywhere and the front office knows that. Hopefully, we see him in the Giants Ring of Honor one day.
