3. RB Dante Miller

Dante Miller endeared himself to Giants fans throughout the preseason, and his nickname “Turbo” allowed the team to have some fun throughout the summer. However, the running back won’t be part of the committee that’ll try to replace Saquon Barkley in 2024, as he didn’t make the 53-man roster.

While Miller flashed at times on the field, a hamstring injury put a damper on his chances. As he looked to get back to form throughout the summer, something seemed amiss when Miller was on the field, and now the Giants will be moving on from him, opting to go in a different direction at running back.

It was always going to be an uphill battle for Miller to make the roster, with Devin Singletary, Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Eric Gray ahead of him. Still, Miller was hoping to carve out a role and give himself a shot in New York, but it seems like things just didn’t break his way with the Giants. Despite not making the Week 1 roster, the practice squad makes a ton of sense for him.
