2. FB Jakob Johnson

Jakob Johnson was released early on during cutdown day, which was a bit of a surprise. The veteran fullback was signed a little over a week ago, and now he’s on his way off the Giants in swift fashion. But, is there something else going on?

Perhaps the Giants have a move in mind they’re ready to make, because Johnson’s abilities when it comes to blocking for the run could’ve gone a long way for New York. With that said, is there a chance we see Johnson back with New York sooner rather than later? With him being a vested veteran, he doesn't have to go through waivers, which is a plus.

With Daboll continuously saying the roster is 'fluid,' it could open the door for some other moves to be put into effect in order to bring Johnson right back. That'd be the ideal scenario, though there's also the option of him signing with a new team. If that's the case, the G-Men will surely regret it.
