2. The top QBs won't be available at No. 6 overall

The buzz surrounding the 2024 NFL Draft has been all over the place when it comes to where the QB prospects will land. Despite this, it seems more likely than not that most, if not all of the top guys will be gone by the time the Giants make their pick. Currently, New York has the No. 6 overall pick, and it seems very likely that all of Caleb Williams, Maye, McCarthy and Daniels will be gone by then.

If the Giants are truly committed to taking a franchise quarterback, they won't take the risk by sitting at No. 6 and they will move up to secure their guy. Any of the aforementioned guys can completely turn New York around, so don't be surprised if Schoen is aggressive when it comes to making this sort of move.

We've seen Schoen be willing to trade up in the time he's been the Giants general manager. Even going back to his days with the Bills, Buffalo had the chance to trade up for their guy in the form of Josh Allen and they took their chance. Now, they have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Given how realistic trading up is, it would be a shame to see Schoen waste this chance to fix the Giants.
