3. Can Daniel Jones get his confidence back?

Last year was really hard on Jones for a lot of reasons. He dealt with injury issues as noted above, but that wasn’t just the only issue. Jones played poorly and there were a lot of factors that went into that. It certainly wasn’t all on the signal-caller.

The offensive skill player group for NY was one of the weaker ones in football and the addition ofDarren Waller did not work out as expected. The offensive line was a huge problem. To many, it felt like Jones was a different guy than we saw in 2022. Jones was more likely to check a ball down rather than looking for a big play downfield.

At times he looked to be defeated as he took a beating behind the offensive line. With some improvements to the offensive line and the skill position room, the Giants need Jones to get his confidence back and lead this team. The addition of Nabers could also be a huge key. Jones can finally feel that he has a true No. 1 receiver who he can look to.
