2. Tackle Jermaine Eluemunor over Evan Neal

This should really come as no surprise for Giants fans. Right tackle Evan Neal has quite simply failed to live up to the expectations New York had on him when they drafted the tackle with one of their first-round picks in 2022. From injury stints that have sidelined him for multiple games and even being booed by Giants fans, Neal's tenure in New York seems to be ending quite soon. Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor is unquestionably an upgrade over Neal this season.

The Giants signed the veteran tackle this offseason to a two-year deal and he brings much more to the table. First and most importantly, Eluemunor has played in every game the last two seasons when he was with the Las Vegas Raiders. The tackle also allowed just six sacks all of last season for Las Vegas and was only penalized five times as well.

Neal has not been the right tackle Big Blue hoped he would be. After not playing in 10 games for the Giants last season due to an ankle injury and missing the majority of training camp with that same injury, his time in New York may be coming to a disappointing end. The Giants made it a priority to fix their offensive line after leading the NFL in sacks allowed last season. Eluemunor lining up at RT is welcome news for countless people.
