The offseason program is here and fans are fired up. The New York Giants are looking for much better results after a downfall 2023 season where they went 6-11 after a playoff campaign the year before. This Giants team will still have some old faces as well as some new faces with key players like Saquon Barkley and Xavier McKinney now gone.

Even though Big Blue made some nice moves in the draft, most notably drafting wide receiver Malik Nabers, there still seems to be more questions than answers about this team ahead of Week 1. We take a look at those in this piece:

5. Who will be the Giants CB2 in 2024?

Deonte Banks was downright brilliant in 2023 and he lived up to the hype of being a first-round pick. Now, he's the CB1 for this team and he's hoping to post a Pro Bowl-caliber season for the G-Men in 2024. With that said, who will be on the other side of the field from him?

When the Giants used their third-round pick on Kentucky CB Andru Phillips, a lot of us thought he'd be lining up on the outside with Banks. However, the plan is for him to start out as a slot cornerback, a spot that used to belong to Darnay Holmes.

Joe Schoen said Phillips will get some looks on the outside, but so will Cor'Dale Flott. Flott has shown flashes in recent years, so we'll have to wait and see how he does if he's given a starting job with Banks.
