4. Can the Giants remain competitive in the NFC East?

It is no secret that the Giants have had a hard time defeating their rivals in the NFC East. Sure they went 3-3 in 2023 defeating the Washington Commanders twice and the Philadelphia Eagles at home to close out the regular season, but Philly had nothing really to play for with Dallas winning the division. Speaking of Dallas, NY went 0-2 against them in '23.

Even though the Giants fared okay against Philly and in particular the Commanders this past season, both of these squads bolstered their rosters this offseason, which could result in the Giants running into some problems. The Eagles of course signed Barkley, as well as locking up wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith on contract extensions.

Also, the Commanders hired Dan Quinn to be their next head coach, while taking Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 pick. These teams should be a lot different from what the Giants saw this past season. And you of course have the Dallas Cowboys, who despite having a quiet offseason, have beaten the Giants six straight times. That's a streak we want to see ended.

The Giants did their best to improve on both sides of the ball, with Nabers being a new WR1 and Brian Burns, one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL, ready to put on a show. Soon enough, we'll see if NY can make noise in the division or if it will be another long year for them.
