4. The Giants will have a Top 5 pass-rush in the NFL

The defense for the Giants in 2024 has a chance to be really strong, especially their pass-rush. New York made a huge splash this offseason when they traded for and signed Brian Burns to a monster extension. With the addition of Burns on this Giants defense, the pass-rush will be in the Top 5 for sacks.

Burns is joining a Giants defense that already has the likes of Kayvon Thibodeaux, who posted 11.5 sacks last season, Bobby Okereke, who played every snap for the Giants last year and Dexter Lawerence, who continues to be one of the best nose tackles in the game. Don't forget about Azeez Ojulari too, as the outside 'backer is hoping to stay healthy throughout '24.

Burns is entering just his sixth season in the NFL and already looks like he's in the prime of his career. Throughout his tenure in Carolina, he's had nine sacks or more in four of those seasons and is just two years removed from his career-best 12.5 sack season in 2022.
