3. Evan Neal will barely see the field and be gone by next offseason

Evan Neal has not been the tackle the Giants envisioned he could be for their offensive line when they took him in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2022. From lingering injuries and inconsistency at the right tackle position, he's been a downright disappointment for the Giants in his first two seasons in the NFL. Unfortunately for Neal, his time with the Giants will come to an end soon.

For starters, Neal has had a hard time staying healthy on the field, with last season being no exception for the former No. 7 overall pick. Neal missed the Giants final nine games last season with an ankle injury which carried into the start of training camp for him, as he began this summer on the PUP list. Neal also left the Giants preseason finale against the Jets with a bum ankle. Despite his MRI coming back clean, this is again a common theme for the Giants right tackle.

The Giants signed Jermaine Eluemunor this offseason and he has already taken over the starting RT spot. Neal will be coming off the bench, but can he be trusted on the outside? Some fans want to see him moved to guard, while others want him gone completely. Don't expect him to see much of the field in 2024. Come next offseason, he'll be looking for a new team.
