4. The Giants won't bring in a new RB during the draft

The Giants lost Saquon Barkley this offseason, as he went to the hated Philadelphia Eagles. The G-Men responded by signing Devin Singletary, a veteran workhouse, in free agency. Some people expect them to find a young back in this upcoming draft at some point, but the team will decide against it and stick with what they have and possibly even make another veteran signing.

NY now has Singletary, but they also have Eric Gray, Jashaun Corbin and Gary Brightwell. Instead of spending a late pick on a running back, the Giants will sign one from college after the draft and allow him to compete for a roster spot. With a limited number of picks and various needs, Schoen could prioritize other spots.

Having said that, it wouldn't be a surprise if Schoen ends up bringing someone in. Guys like Trey Benson and Braelon Allen provide a lot of intrigue. If they're on the board when Schoen is on the clock either Day 2 or Day 3, who knows, maybe he'll decide to bring them to town. However, we just don't see it happening.
