2. Welcome to NY Brandon Aiyuk?
The Giants have longed for a true No. 1 receiver since they lost Odell Beckham Jr., and Brandon Aiyuk can fit that bill for the offense. Aiyuk will be costly in both draft picks and a contract extension, but after the Barkley departure, the team needs an electric playmaker to help out Daniel Jones.
Aiyuk had 75 catches, 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Aiyuk is just 26 years old. He will fit in perfectly with Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt. His presence would immediately turn a weak wide receivers room into a strong one. He also provides a lot for a young quarterback if the team does go that route.
It's not going to come cheap for the Giants to bring in Aiyuk, but there's plenty of contract drama with him and the 49ers as well. While his agent blasted a report that Aiyuk has requested a trade, it's clear that things are far from perfect in San Francisco. An Aiyuk trade on draft night would rock the NFL and it's something we hope to see.
