2. Offensive line coaching proves to be the difference

Giants Nation rejoiced once former offensive line coach Bobby Johnson was fired. The biggest sign he needed to go, other than watching how the offensive line played, was the fans knew his name. You should never know the offensive line coach's name.

Thankfully, he is out of the locker room and Carmen Bricillo has entered. He's coming from the Raiders after serving two years as their offensive line coach and has a tall task ahead of him. The Giants offensive line was one of the worst in the league in 2023 and really has been for the better part of the past decade.

Hopefully, the fix is as simple as coaching. The Giants have an All Pro in Andrew Thomas and have brought in reinforcements through free agency. It's as close to a fresh start you can get with a unit without spending every draft pick on them. Big Blue has the franchise guy and some new faces, so hopefully Bricillo can get the most out of them and turn them into a competent group. Shoot, maybe he can even work some miracles on Evan Neal.
