5 NY Giants who could be nice surprises next season
3. TE Jack Stoll
The Giants tight end position seems to have a lot more questions than answers heading into the 2024 season. It's completely up in the air if veteran TE Darren Waller will be playing next season or not. Waller is reportedly considering retirement. It feels like there's a 50-50 chance we see him suit up in '24.
The Giants signed tight end Jack Stoll, who played for the Eagles last season, on a one-year deal and sure his numbers won't blow you away at all, but there may be a scenario that we see him quite a bit next season. Stoll isn't known for being a stud pass-catcher, but he's a fantastic blocking TE - something that will be key for NY regardless.
Even though the Giants have Daniel Bellinger who has proven to be a productive player, Stoll could also be one of those under-the-radar players that can make an impact on this offense. While we still have to wait and see what Waller does, Stoll may be sneaky good this season.
