4. OT Joe Alt
Like Bowers and every rookie to be on this list, Joe Alt's college production is tough to dismiss. The offensive tackle out of Notre Dame was an absolute stud. for the Fighting Irish and looks to be a lock to be the first offensive lineman off the board in the draft.
This first-round selection is as much about position as talent for the Giants. Making sure the Giants tackle a crucial position of need to help the roster improve in 2024 is imperative in Schoen's decision making. For Alt, there is too much talent at quarterback and wide receiver to warrant his selection at No. 6.
Alt could make sense if the Giants find themselves trading back and unable to select one of the high-end skill position players. Having Andrew Thomas and Alt protect both sides of the line for years to come sounds like a good idea. With that said, the Giants will likely go in another direction come Thursday night. If Malik Nabers is still on board at No. 6, we just don't see the team passing on him.
