1. WR Kadarius Toney

Drafted: 2021, Round 1, Pick 20

Just like the Jones selections, there are a million different ways the first round of the 2021 draft could have gone down for the Giants, and the worst one just so happened to be the reality we are currently living in.

So, entering this year's draft, the Giants held the 11th pick, putting them in range to draft someone like Micah Parsons or Rashawn Slater, two of the top players at their respective positions. However, instead of drafting either of them, the Giants made a trade with the Bears, sending their pick to Chicago for the 20th pick and their 2022 first-rounder.

Now, on paper, this is a great trade. We all knew the Bears weren't going to be good with a rookie Justin Fields running the offense, and they weren't, which netted the Giants the fifth pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, landing them Kayvon Thibodeaux. Thibs is a great player, but man it hurts not to have either Parsons or Slater.

This is all without even mentioning Kadarius Toney. Had he panned out, the Giants could have looked past missing out on an All-Pro player, but he didn't. Not only was Toney bad, but he was problematic, and couldn't stay healthy, leading to him being traded for a third and sixth-round pick in his second season.
