1. Win out

All of this, the DeVito hysteria, the favors from rivals and other conferences, all the hypotheticals go to waste if the Giants don't do one simple thing: win. If this team wants to make the postseason, they have to win the games left on their schedule.

There isn't a scenario that doesn't involve them winning out where they make the playoffs. If there is, it would be nothing short of a miracle. Although it'll be a tough thing to do, the Giants should feel inspired to do it, especially after the Monday night game. It wasn't the prettiest and the Packers aren't the best team, but the Giants showed they can play.

Maybe they need to play a near perfect game, and maybe they need some lucky breaks, but if they want to make the playoffs, won't that need to happen anyway? The Giants have the Eagles twice and the Rams in the final three weeks following this weekend's game vs. New Orleans. Winning these three would prove they belong in the postseason, but we can't look that far a head just yet. If they want to keep these playoff hopes alive, it starts with beating New Orleans on Sunday.
