4. TE Theo Johnson

The tight end position for the Giants has been an issue for quite some time and it took another hit as after just one season in New York, Darren Waller announced his retirement. Despite already having Daniel Bellinger on their roster, who has shown flashes of being a solid tight end, Big Blue drafted tight end Theo Johnson out of Penn State with their fourth-round pick. He's got solid potential.

After not putting up huge numbers during his freshman and sophomore seasons, Johnson had his best showing in 2023. Despite having just 328 receiving yards, which was a career high, Johnson still caught four touchdowns on 20 receptions and even though those stats won't blow anyone away, four touchdowns on 20 receptions meant that he was a favorite target in red zone situations in particular.

It's no secret that the Giants struggled to score touchdowns last year, especially in the red zone. Adding someone like Johnson could change all of that even in goal-line situations, as he's also proved to be a solid blocking tight end as well. Losing Waller stings, but the addition of Johnson should have people excited.
