3. DT Jordan Phillips

The Giants pass-rush is expected to be very good this year and one of the best in the NFL. With the likes of Dexter Lawerence, Kayvon Thibodeaux and newcomer Brian Burns, this Giants defensive front could be a top-three unit in the league. Even with those stars, NY did add another solid defensive tackle in Jordan Phillips, who has proven to be a reliable player.

Phillips has proven to be a consistent defensive tackle throughout his career and despite having just four sacks combined over the last two seasons, Phillips has played in 10 games or more in seven of his 10 seasons in the NFL. He is also coming off a nice 2023 campaign, posting 2.5 sacks in 14 games. He also set a career-high with five passes deflected.

Daboll and Schoen know how good of a player Phillips can be during their days in Buffalo together and there is nothing wrong with adding more depth to your already talented defensive front. The defense struggled for the most part last season, as they ranked 27th in total defense. Let's see if Phillips can be part of the group to help perform a 180.
