1. Game winning touchdown vs. the Bengals in 2016
In 2016, the Giants were known for both close wins and comeback victories. In a Monday Night Football clash against the Cincinnati Bengals, things went back and forth. However, Manning and Shepard were able to connect for the game-winning score in a 21-20 victory for the G-Men. Again, Shepard came up big for this team.
Down 20-14 early on in the fourth quarter, the Giants would go for it on 4th-and-goal in front of a lot of nervous supporters. After a bad drop earlier in the game, Shepard would bounce back with the game-winning touchdown reception.
After starting the season 2-3, the Giants went on to win six games in a row, including this primetime showdown against Cincinnati. Shepard and Manning connecting for this TD led to people going wild in the stands and rightfully so. It was a tremendous play for Shepard, one of several head-turning ones he had with this team. Shepard will be missed, but he'll always be welcome at MetLife with open arms. He's a team great, no question.
