Sometimes it’s important not to overreact.

That’s the message from BetSided NFL betting analyst Iain MacMillan in his “Road to 272” where he picks every game in the NFL season. It’d be easy to overreact to the New York Giants 40-0 loss on Sunday Night Football to the Cowboys, but MacMillan is doing his best not to.

The Giants will face the Cardinals out in the desert. Arizona hung around with Washington in Week 1, but maybe we shouldn’t overreact to that either. If you’re still in on the Giants, you can bet with our BetSided NFL betting analyst in the DraftKings Sportsbook and take advantage of their great promo.

Betting analyst prediction for Giants in Week 2

It’s even harder to keep a level head about a team when you were at the game to watch them get blown out by 40 points like BetSided NFL betting analyst Iain MacMillan was. MacMillan has already forgiven the Giants for his rough Sunday Night at MetLife Stadium and has the simple explanation.

MacMillan wrote, “Are the Giants as good as their record was last season? I don't think so, but they're a much better team than they showed on Sunday Night Football. Sometimes, everything that could go wrong goes wrong for a team and that's what happened against the Cowboys.”

He believes that the Cardinals, who lost 20-16 to the Washington Commanders, are even worse than their Week 1 performance which makes this a perfect opportunity for New York and Brian Daboll.

“Now, they have a perfect bounce back spot against what might end up being the worst team in the league in the Cardinals. I'll keep my faith in the Giants for at least one more week. Try your best to put their game against the Cowboys out of your mind.”
