Is this a sick joke? The amount of injuries the NY Giants and head coach Brian Daboll have had to go through this year has been terrible. Daniel Jones is out with a torn ACL, Tyrod Taylor and Darren Waller are still on IR, Saquon Barkley is dealing with a bum ankle and more.

Oh, but now we have to worry about standout linebacker Bobby Okereke, who has been really coming into his own of late? Yup, that's unfortunately the case. On Wednesday, Okereke missed practice due to a hip injury. It's now totally up in the air if the standout 'backer will be ready to rock for the Week 11 dance in Washington vs. the Commanders. Give us a break.

Giants LB Bobby Okereke is dealing with a hip injury

There haven't been too many positives to celebrate for the 2-8 Giants this season, but the play of Okereke in the middle of the field along with Micah McFadden is most definitely one. In his first campaign with Big Blue, Okereke has posted 91 total tackles and two forced fumbles through 10 games.

McFadden has been a beast for the Giants defense too, with him and Okereke finally giving Big Blue supporters something to smile about when it comes to the LBs room. However, the fact that Okereke is banged up is a total pain in the rear for defensive coordinator Wink Martindale.

It's seriously getting hard to keep track of all the injuries this team is trying to overcome. The hope is that Okereke's bum hip isn't serious and he'll be able to play on Sunday in the NFC East battle at FedEx Field.

If he has to sit this one out, it's only going to make the climb that much more difficult for the Giants to post an upset win over the Commanders. With Barkley being limited on Wednesday as well, the punches keep coming for the Giants and people are sick and tired of seeing it.
