2. WR Jalin Hyatt finishes with his first 100-yard game
One of the biggest and best takeaways from Week 2 was the play of Jalin Hyatt. The third-round pick looked more like a first-rounder against the Cardinals, although he only finished with two receptions. However, he tallied 89 yards on those two catches, of course including his unreal 58-yarder to open the second half. What a throw from Danny Dimes and what a catch from Hyatt:
Jalin Hyatt led the Giants in receiving with 89 yards on only 2 catches.

We agree with Bobby Skinner here: New York doesn't win in Arizona if it wasn't for the strong play of Hyatt. His second grab was a 31-yarder halfway through the fourth quarter, which helped set up the game-tying touchdown to Isaiah Hodgins. Hyatt showcased to Daboll and Co. that he can record big plays for this team when needed.
More of the same will be needed against the 2-0 49ers on Thursday night. With Barkley (likely) sitting this one out, the playmakers are going to have to ball out to help make up for his absence. Yes, Darren Waller, Hodgins and Darius Slayton will need to be big for Jones, but Hyatt will have a great chance to show the country what he's made of. He'll finish with a team-high seven grabs for 114 yards.
