3. Darren Waller will get his first 100-yard game as a Giant
After being sidelined for five weeks with a hamstring injury, Giants tight end Darren Waller returned to the gridiron last week against the Saints. The Pro Bowl tight end caught four of six targets against New Orleans for 40 yards, with his longest reception being 29 yards. The Giants tight end didn't take long to develop chemistry with DeVito. Waller said he had been watching the rookie quarterback from home when recovering from the injury and was really happy for DeVito, so it is no surprise they clicked on the field.
Before missing time with an injury, Waller had 384 yards and just one touchdown this season, which came on Week 7 against the Commanders. The veteran tight end had seven receptions that game, totaling 98 yards. While Waller has not made a huge impact for the Giants this season due to missing time and the injuries suffered on the offense in the first half of the season, he will now have the opportunity to have another breakout game for Big Blue. Waller has not played a game where he surpasses over 100 receiving yards since joining the Giants. Could this be the week he finally surpasses 100 yards?
