4 bold predictions for the NY Giants vs. Eagles Week 18 matchup
3. Tyrod Taylor has another big game through the air
There's a reason why the Giants made the switch from Tommy DeVito at quarterback to veteran backup Tyrod Taylor. He's been around the league for a while, broke the Buffalo Bills playoff drought back in 2017 and can throw the ball well as well as running it. That's why after his 319-yard game against the Rams, he will do it again.
Taylor had his struggles in the loss to the Rams, including missing Barkley for what should have been an easy two-point coversion to win the game. However, he also made some big-time throws, none better than the dime he delivered to Darius Slayton for an 80-yard touchdown. That was one of the tosses of the year, no question.
Taylor did a great job picking apart the Eagles defense when he came in back in Week 16 and he will have another chance to do it again this Sunday. Taylor has played well when given the opportunity to do so. This will also potentially be his final game with the Giants. We think another 300-yard performance will be on the way.
