Nothing, absolutely nothing looked strong for the NY Giants on Sunday in the team's 24-6 loss to the New Orleans Saints. With postseason hopes hanging on by a thread, the Giants played one of their worst games of the season. Talk about playing the game with a lack of urgency.

After the final whistle on Sunday, we don't have to tell you that head man Brian Daboll was not happy with how his guys looked. While speaking to the media, Daboll didn't hold back in calling out his squad, saying nothing was good enough for the Giants to leave New Orleans with a win.

Brian Daboll was not happy with how poor the NY Giants looked vs. the Saints

"Collectively, just not good enough. Pretty much take any area, (it) just wasn't good enough. Give them (the Saints) credit. They did well. (They) were efficient in the pass game. We weren't really efficient in the pass game. The run, the quarterback zone reads where really all of that was going...I think was 9 for 14, or somewhere around there. We couldn't get the run game going, had a number of sacks (allowed). They were pretty efficient, 6 of 12 on third down and 2 of 2 in the red zone. So, collectively, it just wasn't good enough."

Those are the words of a man who wasn't impressed at all with each facet of the game. Daboll brought up the sacks allowed and the run game not getting going as part of the quote above. The offensive line struggled from start to finish in this one.

Justin Pugh had easily his worst game of the season, being a big reason why a total of seven sacks on Tommy DeVito were recorded. He wasn't the only one to struggle, as the entire group was getting tossed around by the New Orleans pass-rush.

With the Giants at 5-9 on the year, they're guaranteed a losing season for the ninth time in the past 11 campaigns. Last year was so damn exciting, but everything has come crashing down in '23. Unfortunately, the loss to the Saints was quite deflating and Coach Dabes is ticked off.
