Is this going to come back to haunt the NY Giants? On Sunday night to close out the first half, the Giants had 1st-and-goal at the Buffalo one-yard line after pass interference was called in favor of Big Blue. With 14 seconds on the clock, the G-Men had three points on lockdown.

However, Tyrod Taylor had other ideas, deciding to audible to a Saquon Barkley run to try and get six points instead. Barkley was stuffed short of the goal line and the Giants offense didn't line up in time to try and spike the ball to stop the clock.

BRUTAL. With that mistake, the Giants left three points off the board. Instead of going into halftime with a 9-0 lead, things were 6-0 after 30 minutes of play. Head man Brian Daboll was furious with Taylor for his decision. Yes, he's the backup QB, but the veteran signal-caller has to know better than this.

In that video above, you can see how upset Coach Dabes is. You can also see Taylor tapping his chest in a 'my bad' moment, but again, this is the kind of mistake you'd expect from a rookie quarterback, not someone who has the experience of Taylor.

The Giants need to be at their best to try and take down the Bills, who entered the game as 15-point favorites. The fact that the NY defense was able to keep Buffalo without any points through the first 30 minutes was a major shock.

You have to assume Josh Allen and Co. will wake up in the second half, which means every single point is incredibly valuable for this team. Fans are going to hate if they look back on this play being the reason the Giants fall to 1-5 on the season. We can only hope that doesn't prove to be the case.
