In two seasons with the NY Giants, inside receiver Wan'Dale Robinson has surely flashed plenty of potential for the team. However, injuries have slowed him down, highlighted by the torn ACL he suffered against the Lions in 2022.
However, Robinson has a bright future and plenty of people have taken notice of his abilities on the gridiron. Just ask Dallas Cowboys All-Pro receiver CeeDee Lamb about that. While talking with Micah Parsons, Lamb didn't hesitate in saying that Robinson is a 'sleeper' for the G-Men.
Wan'Dale Robinson is hoping to post a huge 2024 for the NY Giants
Rivalry aside, you've got to love a player of Lamb's caliber speaking so highly of a Big Blue youngster. Lamb was one of the best wideouts in the league this past fall and winter, posting 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Lamb's season didn't end the way he was hoping for, with Dallas blowing it against the Packers in the Wild Card Round. We can't say we didn't love seeing that, but with the wideout being so nice to Robinson in this case, we won't harp on that too much.
Having said that, Robinson, a second-year man out of Kentucky, had some great moments with the Giants in 2023 and the hope is that he can take another step forward next season. On the year, the speedster finished with 60 receptions for 525 yards and one touchdown in 15 games played. His rookie season, he only appeared in six contests.
Robinson's best two games came in the upset wins over the Packers and Eagles, with him recording 79 yards and 85 yards, respectively. With his incredible speed and route running, Robinson can be a major headache for opposing defensive backs. This is something Lamb has not only seen up close, but it's also something he appreciates. Talk about a classy move from the Dallas star here.
