CeeDee Lamb got away with same celebration Darius Slayton was bogusly flagged for

Where is the consistency?

It was a tremendous day at the office for NY Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton. His game vs. the Seahawks started off with a drop, but after that, he looked like an electric playmaker for the G-Men - the same speedster who has led this team in receiving four of the past five seasons.

With Malik Nabers out with a concussion, Slayton was Daniel Jones' top target and he finished with eight receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown. Bang. However, as great as Slayton's day was, another negative for him was getting flagged 15 yards for an unsportsmanlike penalty.

He couldn't believe it when the laundry hit the turf and you know what, neither could we. There's no question that Slayton was hit with the worst unsportsmanlike call in NFL history, as he did nothing wrong. You know what makes this even worse?

During Sunday Night Football, Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb did the exact same thing. So, what did the refs think? Literally nothing, as it was a first down for Dallas and nothing else happened. What a total joke.

Darius Slayton should be furious over the penalty he received against the Seahawks

Will someone care to explain to us what Lamb did that was different from Slayton? Nothing. Zero. Nada. The fact that Slayton was penalized is something Giants fans still can't get over - he didn't do anything illegal or inappropriate.

Slayton couldn't believe it, but he got the last laugh. On that same drive, No. 86 ran a perfect route and hauled in a 30-yard touchdown pass from Jones. He celebrated in style with some dancing, and this time there was no flag thrown. Maybe the refs realized they blew it, or maybe they just knew they had to sit down and shut up after Slayton posted his score:

What a throw by Danny Dimes and what a catch from Slayton. Those two were in sync all afternoon and it was awesome. The Giants are now 2-3 on the season, with Slayton playing a massive role in helping his team earn a W. As for the officials, how about a little consistency? Let the players have fun and don't try to ruin a game with a stupid call. It's just getting old at this point.
