Don't be surprised if the former first-rounder gets cut soon.

It seemed like it was only a matter of time until Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid would start to lose patience with Kadarius Toney. The former NY Giants first-round pick was traded to Kansas City in 2022 and he just can't stay on the field.

Toney has dealt with a number of injuries throughout his young career. He may have two Super Bowl rings with the team, but he's far from a lock to make the 53-man roster. Matter of fact, it wouldn't be a surprise if he's cut this summer. Recently at KC camp, Reid was asked about the controversial wideout and it's clear he has just about had it with the speedster:

Former Giants WR Kadarius Toney could get cut by the Chiefs this summer

Toney was recently able to get back on the practice field after missing some time with a back injury. This isn't the first time he's been away from the team due to an ailment. The Chiefs have made wideout a priority, including drafting Xavier Worthy in the first round. Hollywood Brown, who suffered an injury in the preseason opener, was also signed.

Justyn Ross has been turning heads too. Toney has a bit of a mountain to climb to be around for Week 1 - him failing to stay healthy is hurting his chances of sticking around. Last season was brutal for him, as he made countless headlines for rough drops, while he also ruined one of the best plays in NFL history thanks to being lined up offsides:

Toney has all the potential in the world, but his body can't stay healthy for a full season and his off-the-field drama, including ripping Giants fans left and right, has gotten the better of him since he made his pro debut. The thought was that perhaps a fresh start in KC could get his career back on track, but his time with the reigning back-to-back title winners could be coming to a close here pretty soon.
