Say what you want about Daniel Jones and how much he has struggled for the NY Giants, but absolutely no one deserves to go through the amount of injuries he has. On Sunday against the Raiders, he went down with what everyone expected to be a serious injury.

Now, it looks like that's exactly what happened. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Giants are fearing that Jones has suffered a torn ACL. If that's the case, then not only will he be out for the rest of the season, but he could also miss a good chunk of next fall too. This is a nightmare, period:

NY Giants fear that Daniel Jones has suffered a torn ACL

Danny Dimes was making his first start since his neck injury Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins. In that loss, Jones' neck snapped back in a way it's not supposed to. It was a different neck issue from the one he suffered in 2021 (he missed the final six games of the year), but he was still in a ton of pain.

Now, though, Jones went down vs. Las Vegas after he planted his right foot to try and get upfield, but his knee buckled. Jones was able to stay in the game, but when he dropped back soon after, he fell to the turf - as soon as that happened, Big Blue supporters knew how bad this was.

With Jones feared to have suffered a torn ACL, that means it will be on Tommy DeVito to run this offense for at least the next three games. Tyrod Taylor is on Injured Reserve and can't try and save this O from sinking any lower.

This past offseason, the Giants gave Jones a $160 million extension, which was a massive gamble. Fast forward to present time an it's looking like a monster mistake, with the Giants now expected to be without their franchise QB for a while. This sucks all around for the Giants players, coaches and fans.
