Watch Darren Waller deliver fiery speech to NY Giants teammates and show leadership

This guy just continues to win over people in New York. New NY Giants tight end Darren Waller has been among the most impressive guys featured at training camp, not just for the G-Men, but across the league. The expectations are high for him in Year 1 in the NFC East.

Waller is already making an impact with his voice as well. On Tuesday, NY posted one of its worst practices of the summer - maybe the worst. The unit knew they needed to bounce back in a big way for Wednesday's session. Waller did everything in his power to get his guys fired up, delivering a fiery speech to his teammates:

"Hey fellas, we may be practicing against another team, but it never will be - never has been about what they do. It's about what we do. We don't feel pressure, we apply it. You know what I'm saying?"

That powerful message came at the end of the clip above and it might have some of you ready to run through a wall. Waller has been a rockstar in East Rutherford this summer, as Big Blue supporters can't wait to see how big of an impact he can have for Daniel Jones.

Danny Dimes and Waller have done a fantastic job building their chemistry and things are only going to get better in the coming weeks. While it's unlikely Jones and Waller will take the field together vs. the Lions on Friday night, we certainly hope to see them in action next week vs. the Panthers.

Waller's health is going to be a topic of conversation throughout the year, but there's optimism he'll be able to stay healthy. If he does, then it could be another Pro Bowl-type season for the talented pass-catcher.
