1. We won't give up on the dream of DeAndre Hopkins to the NY Giants

Last but not least, could the NY Giants and general manager Joe Schoen be ready to shoot their shot here? While there have been some fantastic offensive additions for this team in recent months, Big Blue is also without a true WR1. As fired up as fans are for Jalin Hyatt and Parris Campbell, they're not at the level that Hopkins is.

A major selling point the Giants have for Hopkins in his free-agency tour is that he could step in and be THE guy for the WRs room. Tight end Darren Waller is most certainly going to make a ton of noise for this team as well, but his presence alone could open up more space for Hopkins and the other G-Men receivers.

What could help NY here too is that Hopkins was spotted training with Saquon Barkley earlier this offseason. The two are friends, with Schoen having the ability of selling Hopkins on the fact that he'd be able to make plays with his buddy. First, Schoen is going to have to figure things out with Barkley, as he's not happy about being placed on the non-exclusive franchise tag.

If Schoen can get something finalized with Barkley, though, it'd also help out from a salary cap standpoint. The Giants would still need to be creative with the cap to ink Hopkins, but Schoen is a magician - he'll be able to figure something out.

Hopkins' potential with the Giants would be through the roof. He's looking for a team with a great QB, defense and management. NY checks all of those boxes. It might seem like a long shot for the Giants to land Hopkins, but we're not giving up on hope there just yet.
