The future is bright for NY Giants cornerback Deonte Banks. After the G-Men used the No. 24 overall pick on the youngster, trading up to land his services, people have been dying to see what he can for Wink Martindale and Co. moving forward.

Banks, who missed some time recently due to celebrating his college graduation, made quite the splash over the weekend. During the No. 6 OTAs session, Banks posted an interception and you better believe he celebrated in style.

Banks plays with a ton of swagger and more of his strong play will surely be on the way during mandatory minicamp - and the 2023 campaign as well.

NY Giants CB Deonte Banks has huge expectations for 2023 and beyond

This is exactly what fans are hoping to see out of Banks. The rookie defensive back has been thrown right into the mix of things, seeing extensive time running with the starters. The training wheels have been taken off and Martindale is going to rely on him to play beyond his years this fall and winter.

Banks has not only been impressing the NY supporters, but he has also turned the head of fellow cornerback Adoree' Jackson. Jackson recently said that he's been a huge fan of Banks' ability to take in coaching at a high level.

Jackson is the leader of the secondary, so if he has been happy with how Banks has come along thus far, then this is something people should be excited about as well. Banks is certainly going to have plenty of ups and downs in '23, as there's some serious talent at receiver the Giants are getting ready to face this campaign.

However, Banks was taken in the first round for a reason: he's got serious game and monster potential. Look for him to keep making noise in East Rutherford moving forward.
