4. Dolphins OG Robert Hunt
Again, the Giants are expected to be aggressive in pursuing a free agent guard and some think they’ll spend big to get at least one in free agency, so plucking Robert Hunt from the Dolphins is a good way to bolster the offensive line.
With Mark Glowinski being cut, plus Justin Pugh and Ben Bredeson both free agents, the Giants have two openings at the guard positions and Hunt would be an immense improvement from what everyone saw at guard last season.
𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧:#Dolphins had offered starting RG Robert Hunt a contract extension during the season but were turned down as he felt he could get a better offer in free agency.

Hunt is arguably the Dolphins best olineman and right now the expectation is that he will be signing… pic.twitter.com/n915YO0Una
Hunt allowed just five pressures and one sack for the Dolphins in 2023. Those numbers would be welcomed for an offensive line that allowed 85 total sacks to their quarterbacks. The Giants did replace Bobby Johnson as the offensive line coach with Carmen Bricillo, but changing the coach can only do so much. The Giants have cap space and Hunt should be a must have with that money.
