Right now, the status for Xavier McKinney is very much up in the air. There was hope that the Giants would place the transition tag on him, but Schoen and Co. have decided to let him test the free-agent market instead. Will this prove to be a major mistake? Potentially, as it has been reported McKinney is eyeing around $14 million a year.

Should the Giants see him sign elsewhere, then veteran safety Quandre Diggs could be a suitable replacement. It was recently announced that Seattle decided to part ways with Diggs to open up cap space. Seattle also released Jamal Adams, but we don't want to see Big Blue go after him.

We would like to see the front office make a run at inking Diggs. This past season for Seattle, Diggs posted a career-high 95 tackles, while adding one interception and five pass deflections. Prior to this past season, Diggs earned Pro Bowl honors in three straight campaigns.
