It looks like we may see a blockbuster trade get done before the first round of the NFL Draft arrives, but we sure hope this doesn't come true. Matter of fact, NY Giants fans across the globe will be up in arms if the Eagles somehow pull this off.

The latest word on Twitter is that the Eagles are about to land superstar running back Derrick Henry from the Tennessee Titans. Henry appears to be headed for a new city, but the Eagles links have arrived out of nowhere, However, Howie Roseman is a bit of a magician, so you can't put anything past him. This would be brutal for Big Blue fans:

The Philadelphia Eagles could be on the verge of trading for Derrick Henry

Henry is a total force and easily one of the toughest players in the league to bring down. Henry indeed is former teammates with standout WR AJ Brown, who was traded to the Eagles at this point last year. Brown would of course love his former Alabama/Titans teammate to make his way to the NFC East.

Henry has rushed for at least 1,500 yards in three of the last fours seasons. No one has forgotten about him posting 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2020, which led to him landing First Team All-Pro honors.

In 2022, Henry finished with 1,528 yards and 13 touchdowns, once again earning a trip to the Pro Bowl. He's a freak of nature and one of the best RBs out there. He would add yet another explosive playmaker for the Philadelphia offense.

The Eagles went 3-0 vs. the Giants in '22, and NY supporters are ready for some revenge next season. However, the Eagles potentially adding Henry would make that task way more difficult. If the Football Gods are listening - please don't let Henry go to Philly.
