Donovan McNabb knows all about a good rivalry with the NY Giants. He put up some big games for the Eagles while taking on the G-Men. He also spent a season with Washington - which was incredibly weird to see.

McNabb is enjoying life in retirement, which includes him watching all kinds of NFL action and now hosting his own show. This includes keeping a close eye on Daniel Jones and Big Blue apparently. While speaking on his podcast 'The 5 Spot with Donovan McNabb,' he called out Danny Dimes and NY. His comments on the team are really going to open up plenty of eyes.

Donovan McNabb slamming the Giants came from out of the blue

"“You know what, when you look at their offense - and (Brian) Daboll was supposed to be kind of a QB whisperer so to speak - I really didn’t see that last year. I was looking forward to this upcoming season to see changes in Daniel Jones because, to be honest with you, I’m not a big Daniel Jones fan."

McNabb went on to say that the Giants made a mistake in not giving a big contract to Saquon Barkley, while also saying that he thinks Jones deserves the kind of criticism that Russell Wilson got with the Broncos last year. Jones put the pen to paper on a $160 million deal, but he has not lived up to the hype in 2023.

Three weeks into the season, the Giants are 1-2 on the year, with rough losses to the Cowboys and 49ers. A miracle comeback vs. the Cardinals has prevented this team from being 0-3. Jones has been far from perfect, with plenty of his haters letting him have it.

Out of nowhere, we now know that McNabb is a guy who isn't a fan of Jones at all. Jones has said he's not paying attention to the outside noise, but we sure are. Come Week 4, everyone is hoping Jones can put up a big game vs. Seattle. Should that happen, McNabb will owe him an apology.
