For the past month or so, countless people have raced to blast the NY Giants for signing Daniel Jones to his four-year, $160 million deal. We get it - it's a lot of dough. However, head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen have voiced their support for the young signal-caller time and time again.

Now, Jones is surely going to have even more confidence knowing that a team legend fully has his back as well: Eli Manning. The two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback has been in Jones' corner from Day 1 and nothing will be changing in that regard. While speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Manning provided quite the message of support for Danny Dimes.

Eli Manning is ready to see Daniel Jones take a step forward in 2023

""He's going to continue to grow. He hasn't been in the same offense for multiple years. And now, being in the same offense, having other guys in the same offense around him getting things going, I think he'll just continue to get stronger and better." "

Jones is coming off the best year of his career, as he flirted with 4,000 total yards and posted 22 total touchdowns. The turnovers were way down for Jones, which was a big-time win it itself. In the Wild Card Round win over the Vikings, he was a monster both through the air and on the ground, making life difficult for the Vikes.

Schoen and Co. had a tough decision this offseason, as they wanted to prevent placing Jones on the non-exclusive franchise tag, which would have come with a $32.4 million cap hit. Luckily, the two sides were able to reach their agreement.

Once Week 1 rolls around, all of Jones' haters will be following his play closely. They'll be celebrating every single interception he throws, while blasting the Giants for giving him so much money. However, countless people know that Jones will be a stud quarterback for years to come. Manning is ready to see what Jones can do in '23 and beyond.
