In less than two weeks, it will be time for NY Giants quarterback Daniel Jones to show the world that he's worth the $160 million contract Joe Schoen gave him this offseason. What will Danny Dimes be able to do against the Cowboys? We can't wait to find out.

With that said, Jones continues to get disrespected, with not a lot of people thinking he's going to play at a superstar level. Take a new piece from ESPN as your latest example. On Monday, the ESPN staff put together its Top 100 players ahead of the new campaign. In total, 12 signal-callers were on the list. In surprising fashion, Jones was nowhere to be seen. Come on!

Daniel Jones being left off ESPN's Top 100 players list is a total joke

Guys like Dak Prescott, Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins made the cut, but Jones was left off? Please, make it make sense. Jones is no stranger to receiving bullentin-board material from the national media. It's starting to get old.

However, despite going 9-7-1 last season and powering the Giants to an NFC Wild Card Round win over the Vikings, people still aren't convinced on the former No. 6 overall pick to deliver for head coach Brian Daboll and Co.

With all the offseason moves that general manager Joe Schoen has made, the potential is there for Jones to have a monster campaign for Big Blue. Darren Waller, Parris Campbell and Jalin Hyatt are sure to make a huge difference for the aerial attack.

With Saquon Barkley back with the squad too, it's only going to have Jones operating at a higher level. We're going to look back on this piece from ESPN in about a month or so and have a nice laugh. Jones is set to have an impressive campaign for the G-Men - that's a guarantee.
