Even Skip Bayless thinks the NY Giants can take the Cowboys in Week 4

Is it finally time for Big Blue to turn the tide in this NFC East rivalry?

The NY Giants are riding high after escaping Cleveland with a massive road win over the Browns. Brian Daboll’s squad overcame an ugly 0-2 start and gave the Big Blue fanbase some hope moving forward.

However, none of that will matter this Thursday as the G-Men gear up for a primetime showdown against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. Both teams enter the contest with one win apiece at the bottom of the NFC East. Coming off a pair of ugly losses, staunch Dallas supporter and television personality Skip Bayless has doubts that the Cowboys can go into East Rutherford and pull out a victory. Can you blame him?

Skip Bayless unsure whether Cowboys can beat Giants on TNF

An animated Skip posted himself on X questioning whether the struggling Cowboys can beat NY. He might root for Dallas, but no one is more critical of quarterback Dak Prescott and head coach Mike McCarthy than him. He suggests they are turning into the worst team in the league, which even Giants fans can agree is not the case.

Don’t look now, but the Cowboys are playing some pretty rough football. The Saints torched their Swiss cheese defense in Week 2 for 44 points, and they were being blown out by the Ravens on Sunday until a late-game comeback attempt bridged the deficit. Skip rightfully has major concerns about America’s Team.

If Daboll's group is going to pull off the upset, quarterback Daniel Jones must continue to play at a high level. He turned in a solid performance against Cleveland thanks to some incredible catches by young sensation Malik Nabers. NY's chances of winning would substantially diminish if Danny Dimes plays like he did in Week 1 when he threw two interceptions and an ugly pick-six vs. Minnesota.

The Giants are 1-13 vs. Dallas over the past seven seasons, so many people are skeptical to believe this week will be any different. Regardless, the NFL has brought forth many surprises through the first few slate of games. NY has a ton of momentum heading into Thursday Night Football and could shock the world on the MetLife Stadium turf. Bayless is nervous and he should be.
