If all goes to plan, Drew Lock will never see the field.

After the 2023 season came to an end, it was no secret the New York Giants had many holes to fill. To Joe Schoen and Co.'s credit, they aimed to do just that and brought in a whole bunch of new faces to East Rutherford.

From the big-name moves like Brain Burns and Devin Singletary, to under-the-radar additions like Allen Robinson and Isaiah McKenzie, Big Blue has welcomed a variety of newcomers. Some of these first-year Giants, though, may only be 'break in case of emergency' players and their snap counts could be nonexistent.

3. TE Jack Stoll

The Giants punched back (not really) after losing Saquon Barkley to the Philadelphia Eagles by acquiring Jack Stoll. The three-year veteran is coming off a season in which he caught five balls off of only eight total targets.

He played in 38 percent of offensive snaps in 2023, and while a 38 percent drop off to 0 percent snaps played seems big, it's entirely possible. Entering 2024, Daniel Bellinger will be the sure fire No. 1 option at tight end and has been a solid security blanket for Daniel Jones. Another Penn Stater was brought in to the Meadowlands, as Schoen drafted promising tight end prospect Theo Johnson.

Johnson is coming off a season where he accounted for 34 catches, 341 yards and seven touchdowns. Given the history of Bellinger and the optimism surrounding Johnson, Stoll is going to have a tough time finding snaps. It's no surprise he finds himself at No. 3 on the depth chart.
