2. RB Wayne Gallman
Giants fans have forgotten about Wayne Gallman way too quickly. Gallman was drafted by Big Blue in the fourth round of the 2017 draft and played four seasons with the club. Serving primarly as Saquon Barkley's backup, Gallman rushed for 1,444 yards and nine touchdowns across four seasons.
Gallman was integral to the Giants offense after Barkley tore his ACL in Week 2 of 2020. Gallman rushed for 682 yards and six touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 114 yards. Many Giants fans will remember Gallman for fumbling the ball in the 2020 season finale against Dallas, then recovering the football by sitting on the ball, keeping the Giants playoff hopes alive (Doug Pederson killed those hopes).
The game of Gallman's career was a 2020 victory in Seattle. The running back rushed for 135 yards on 16 carries, leading the Giants to a stunning victory over the Seahawks, a game Colt McCoy started at quarterback.
Gallman left the Giants after 2020 and signed with Atlanta. He played in six games with Atlanta in 2021 and two with Minnesota, but did not play in 2022. Regardless, his 2020 efforts will be remembered in New York for a long time.
