2. WR Richie James

Richie James had a career year for Big Blue. His number was called early and often both for the offense, and special teams. James posted 57 catches for 569 yards and four touchdowns this past year. James wasn't the flashiest of players, but he became a reliable option for Jones.

Unfortunately, not everything was perfect for James. Fans haven't forgotten about his two fumbles vs. the Seattle Seahawks early in the season. It was frustrating to watch. After that miserable performance in the Pacific Northwest, plenty of people were calling for Jones to get cut.

This offseason, Schoen signed speedy wide receiver Parris Campbell formerly of the Indianapolis Colts, re-signed Darius Slayton and more for the WRs room. Oh, don't forget about the G-Men trading for tight end Darren Waller too. The aerial game will be much improved, but James won't be a part of things moving forward.

James reached a new deal with the Kansas City Chiefs during free agency. Now, James will look to help Kansas City go back-to-back. Again, James wasn't a flashy player for the Giants, but he did step up when needed in 2023.
