1. OL Jon Feliciano
Gates wasn't the only offensive lineman the Giants decided to move on from following the 2022 campaign. Jon Feliciano was brought in to provide some stability for the offensive line, but he was far too inconsistent for the G-Men in '22.
Feliciano brought some toughness and grit to a line that was sorely lacking it outside of Gates. Feliciano, Gates, and Mark Glowinski had an attitude up front that we had not seen in years, so fans can be thankful for that. He was solid at times, but fans were clamoring for better.
Feliciano signed with the San Francisco 49ers in free agency. NY went the route Giants fans have been wanting and drafted the top center in the draft in Schmitz to provide some consistency up front for Danny Dimes. Giants fans hope the offensive line can get back to the monster it once was, with Schmitz taking over at center.
You have to feel some excitement for the line this upcoming season. A potential offensive line of (left to right) Andrew Thomas, Ben Bredeson, Jon Michael Schmitz, Mark Glowinski and Evan Neal should have fans hopeful. There are solid young pieces across the line and if they can continue to gel, it could be a group to take seriously in '23. Feliciano won't be included, though.
