2. OG Dalton Risner
If the G-Men don't pursue Pugh or invest in backup guard Joshua Ezeudu, who is currently listed on the 53-man roster, they could go back to the drawing board and sign free agent Dalton Risner, who surprisingly remains available as a free agent.
While Risner appears interested in joining the Minnesota Vikings, he makes a lot of sense for Big Blue. The former second-round pick out of Kansas State spent the last four seasons with the Denver Broncos, where he started 62 games.
Last season, the veteran guard allowed three sacks, tied for 24th among linemen in the NFL, in 967 offense snaps played, and earned a 61.1 overall grade by Pro Football Focus. The 28-year-old OL has only allowed 10 sacks in his professional career and has amassed a 97.1 or better pass-blocking efficiency score in his four seasons.
Daniel Jones was pressured on 66.7% of his dropbacks which was the most in the NFL.

13.6% more than any other QB.
After Danny Dimes was pressured more than any other quarterback in the opening week, the Giants must make a massive upgrade on their offensive line, and they may have their guy in Risner. So Schoen, what is the wait? Make the call.
