Where does Giants star Daniel Jones rank among NFC East QBs?
2. NY Giants' Daniel Jones
As much as we'd love to put Jones in first for his incredible play in 2022, there's simply no beating the guy who's in first. Regardless, considering that you could make an argument for Jones being the worst in the division entering last season, being in second is pretty darn good.
In 16 games played last season, Jones completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 3,205 yards, 15 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. In addition to this, Jones also ran the ball 120 times for 708 yards and seven touchdowns, being one of the best QBs in the NFL on the ground.
Unlike Prescott, Jones' box score numbers don't really pop out at you, however, most Giants fans know how crucial he was for the team's success, especially in the clutch. Jones made too many clutch plays to count this past fall and winter and the fans couldn't be happier for the jump he made in just one offseason.
Entering his fifth season with an improved receiving core, developing offensive line, and genius offensive coaching staff, there is a very real chance we see Jones potentially make the leap past two, and make his mark as the best QB in the division. At the very least, it seems like a lock for him to maintain his spot as second.
